The best thing about being a beauty therapist?
The best thing about being a beauty therapist for me is having the knowledge and skills to help others look and feel good about themselves. It’s a know fact that when we look good, we feel good and been able be involved in that process is very satisfying.

Why teacher training?
While I was training to be a beauty therapist I was inspired by an excellent educator that I had. I could see the passion and love that she had for the industry and it made it all the easier to succeed in my studies. I have always love beauty therapy and now I have the same passion and love for teaching that she had. To be able to inspire and pass on the knowledge and skills to others is a wonderful gift in itself.

Learning something new everyday on a life long journey and the people I have met because of it.

Why teacher training?

I wanted to develop my skills in communicating something i am very passionate about to others.

How did you hear about the course?

Through Google! I simply put in the title "teaching massage" and the college I attend was the first hit- I was very lucky!
I then researched it further through the ITEC Website and still ended up studying with the college.

Life changing and very enjoyable. It's time consuming but easy to do once you have the interest.

Firstly, ignore the distractions! I have a study time set aside three nights a week but I always have a book or notes with me in case I get a chance to revise.

Finding the time to do it and committing to study times! Once you are organised and stick to a schedule it's fine.
