This workshop will introduce you to the fascinating world of adult education and the skills and techniques needed to become a great teacher or trainer.
This workshop will be delivered in an interactive, enjoyable yet thought provoking format that will equip you with knowledge to enable you to decide if a career in teaching or training adults is for you!
It will also provide an overview of the opportunities in adult education.
Workshop content includes an introduction to:
- Skills and attributes of successful teachers and trainers
- Effective teaching and training delivery methods
- Adult learning theories
- Adult motivations for learning
- Career opportunities in teaching and training
If you decide that teaching or training is for you, you can can redeem this course fee when you enrol on the ITEC Lecturing Diploma or the FETAC Train the Trainer (valid for one year) at the Irish Academy.
