This programme is an excellent opportunity to gain a national trainer qualification and to progress your career or train/up skill your staff.
It is designed to equip trainers with a national qualification in presenting skills and knowledge to individuals or groups. The programme is also greatly reduced to assist applicants in these challenging times.
The FETAC Train the Trainer award is a level 6 Certificate on the national qualifications framework.
It is ideal for Fitness Instructors - people working in Leisure Centres or Community Education - companies who require in-house trainers, or for individuals working in, or aspiring to work in, the following environments, – Spas - Salons – Distribution Companies – Product suppliers – Cosmetic Companies- Skin Care Companies - High street fashion stores, Hotels/Destination Spas - Retail Outlets. It is also ideal for freelance therapists & make-up artists who may want to pursue further teaching opportunities in their industry.
The award equips participants with generic skills and knowledge in the areas of
• Adult learning
• Analysing training needs
• Designing training activities
• Developing training
• Evaluation and monitoring training
